The Parish Nursing program at St George's will provide
Health Education, Advocacy,  and Health Resource
information to the members of this community.

The success of this program will have significant benefits to
the recipients of the health services in our community and
will also provide a template to address specialized health
education and service needs throughout Courtenay.

A key component in Poverty Reduction is in helping people
to live healthier lives, to have access to all of the health  
resources in the community, and to build self-esteem
through the setting and achieving of personal goals.

The successful achievement of personal health
improvement is a major source of improved self-esteem.
